These two ladies were captured during a late night artist gala in a philanthropist's penthouse apartment in Chelsea, Manhattan. Both were standing in the middle of the living room, one clothed and one posing nude, completely still, part of a larger nude ensemble of about 10 individuals.
The piece began with a Bulgarian Vocal Quartet harmonizing, cueing the entire ensemble to slowly walk to their places in the middle of the living room and remained frozen staring at the guests for the entirety of the song.
Once the song ended, the nude ensemble broke out in maniacal laughter, pivot turned, and slowly walked away, leaving the captivated audience (including myself) with mouths agape.
Material: Archival quality metallic art print on board of original charcoal and conte crayon drawing. Paper has a semi-gloss metallic finish when light bounces off of it.
